With her minimalist images self-taught photographer Mirka van Renswoude wants to slow down and celebrate both the beauty and the power of stillness and simplicity.

She creates beauty by capturing the ever-changing moment with her macro lens. Fascinated by water and the interplay of form and color, Mirka always manages to take beautiful photos at precisely the right time. In her abstract photography, circles and lines reveal themselves in the best possible way. Her work couldn't be more surprising.

Mirka was recently selected as New Dutch Photography Talent 2020 and FRESH EYES European Photography Talent 2020 by GUP magazine.
